I am wondering....

Today I am wondering why there are people in our country that believe that we are not doing enough to prevent global warming and are willing to let tax payer shell out more money to throw into projects to "prevent" global warming but yet - In China you have to wear a facemask because the air quality is so horrible! Yet we are told on an almost daily basis - we aren't doing enough.

My stance on Obama

It is probably best if I give an analogy.

I have children and I am looking for a babysitter to watch over them, ensure their safety and provide necessary care giving in my absence. Now, in choosing the care giver I look over several different areas to ensure they are the best provider in my absence. Let's say the care giver I am about to choose has ties to a known child molester. Maybe they are not every day friends but acquaintances nonetheless. Guess what - that person will not become my child care giver or babysitter or whatever title you would like to apply. Why? Because anyone that associates with a child molester doesn't need to be caring for my kids.

Now let's apply that little analogy to the next president. Short and sweet I don't believe the Commander-in-Chief and the Leader of the United States of America should have ties to people who are considered domestic terrorists, Marxist or radical in their views of America and Americans.

Call me crazy but for the same reason I wouldn't let a person associated with a child molester watch my kids, I wouldn't want a person that associates themselves with things that America has fought and had her people died to prevent be President of the United States. GO FIGURE!!!

I have a question.....

For those that believe the war in Iraq is about oil, I have a question for you....WHY are oil prices so high if the purpose of the war was to get oil?

I have been thinking about global warming...

and it is not that I don't believe it exists. I do believe there is such a thing as global warming but I don't believe in it like say , Al Gore or any other nut case out there that is acting like chicken little.

I find it amazing though that amongst all the things "they" (meaning the chicken littles of the world or the real hard core global warming supporters) say we should do to reduce our car emmisions I have not heard word one about getting rid of drive-through at fast food restaurants. If car emissions are as evil as the devil himself I hear none of the global warming clan protesting drive-throughs.

I don't know - if I was a serious hard core global warming fan I would think that the energy saving light bulb replacement that "everyone" is doing is peanuts compared to the shutting down of drive-throughs.

Just a thought.
